Friends: What is the actual h.p. Rating for a 2021 traditional steel Plus 4 .Manual says 154, but dealer and several other sources claim 180 - 190. Ford GDI engine. Also, are there tuning kits for this engine to squeeze out a few more horses? LarryS.

Have a look at exhaust, manifold and flash…
The usual classic way to find some horses.
And don‘t forget the Cosworth ARP4 and the „ST turbo conversion“. For a lot more horses.

You are correct the standard is 154 but when we got ours they said it had a different tune for the emissions and said it should be about 170 but could never get a correct answer but with the full AR exhaust and manifold and the Clubsport tune it will be 180bhp.
