Squadron Leader BtG Hang on old boy, you were promoted from Flying Officer to Recruitment Officer and now you have usurped the authority of the real Squadron Leader - Oberleutnant DCM and Pat's Bar.  Report to the barracks in the morning as you are on jankers.

Ah but you see the great Simon (who wealdeth great power on this forum) cannot join the squadron as he does not own (or has previously owned) a side-pipes equipped Morgan. (pls note adaptations are only accepted on 'real' cars, not Teutonic hairdresser cars  ). I left you with an option of allocating one of your memberships (though you have not even registered yourself I note) and it would appear that you have chosen NOT to allocate this to our great leader.  Thus, I have stepped up to the mantle, as all good men do.  BtG

Righto, current SPS role call and rank: BtG - Squadron Leader  Paul Hurst - with that Bren - Right Wing Man. Funky - with your collection of vehicles and charm - anything you want . Julf - I could not see the pipes on the photo, but I saw enough guns  - Rear gunner. Chris - Not sure whether those pipes are actually side pipes, more like top pipes, however 100% for effort and thus - left wing man Kin - coolest, baddest  fastest looking pipes and therefore must be - forward scout and support. I trust there will be no disharmony in the ranks  Chocks away Ginger... BtG

As we make the arrangements to go to the meet in St. Tropez, it has been agreed that the time has come for the founder members of the Sidepipe Squadron to sort of formalise things.  As the Owner/Director of TalkMorgan, Simon has been made the current Honorary Oberleutnant of the Squadron, but this position will be immediately reviewed if he does not order his next Aero with Sidepipes. If you would like a membership form to join the Squadron: full membership requires ownership (or past-ownership Michael ) of the appropriate vehicle but all applications will be considered on merit and you may be considered to become a FOSS or Friend of the Sidepipe Squadron. So please PM BtG (PM name = Boshly) immediately, as he will no doubt be bombarded with requests from both owners and other enthusiasts to join this not so elite band of founders of this disreputable Squadron.  Our founding charter, as agreed at the wing dinner which unfortunately you could not attend BtG. BtG  Well Firstly my sincere apologies........................................................ to Michael for missing him off, Flt Sgt Michael your application is accepted. Secondly I do detect dissent in the ranks, it would appear that 'boy scout' Aeroman - who has not even applied, is attempting a coup d'etat. The good news is that I don't think he has achieved his 'infiltration' badge yet and it would appear his woggle is on too tight. We will resist his feeble attempts and discuss his application when received. As you were Men. BtG

Does that mean i'm on the frontline then  Therefore I'm expendable Anyhow, as you could see from my BNG thread, I braved against hundreds of TVRs and did a sterling job of it, I therefore expect to get a promotion in rank fairly soon

Now you're trying to upset Funky, but I'm sure she will accept your apology and a suitable present.  As for my car, as you should be aware the rear is completely bare (no smutty jokes please BtG), ergo - it has massive sidepipes.   Rest easy Squadron.

It's OK for you ex-Army types, but I never got beyond the Boy Scouts.  As for my car, as you should be aware the rear is completely bare (no smutty jokes please BtG), ergo - it has massive sidepipes. Rest easy Squadron. For an ex-scout I dont think you should be either: 1) talking about bare behinds - we dont want to know what went on in your youth. 2) Giving squadron orders! I accept you now have shown proof of side-pipes and as such membership is extended to you - I appoint you as chief Aero washer - all that washing cars in the scouts can now be put to good use. As you were men - and that includes you Funky (an honorary man in the SPS  ) Squadron Leader BtG
