Sounds good Richard. Very warm here today so the run to the daycare centre at Sutton Hoo was glorious

It's really good John and for the locals really but it has grown and raises a lot of revenue for the local businesses and in particular the accommodation sector and eateries, they have proper ale everywhere too.. They couldn't hold them for the last couple of years and we really missed it.

Glad you had a good run out, similar weather to us I think around 18 and sunny with a light breeze off the river.

A splendid day out at the DonMog grass Autotest. A great turnout. Running earlier in the season than usual led to a much more slippery surface than usual.

Mrs F won the ladies trophy. Rather pleased with my own score too (get to keep the trophy!).

Pauly, over here they have what they call a middle aisle and it is always packed with man and woman bargains, quite often they have some really good tools in there it's always worth a rootle through as it changes weekly.
Their fruit and veg are cheap and always far fresher and better quality than the Sainsbury's store which they think is a little superior laugh2

Oh, sorry about it.

There are two points. At first I‘m German. In Germany exotic cars are (in the most times) toys for to play with it on sunday or sunny days. Not for a basic use. The things (cars) are well kept and out of usual use.

LIDL is a big store for the usual things of daily life and in Germany there are bargain days on Monday and Thursday. At this days you find used cars of the middleclass in the carpark. If there is bargain day you don‘t want to park a better car in the middle of the carpark. I‘m critical to do it with our 2019 Volkswagen T-Cross.

So the expierence and also the adventure was to be out for to use the Mog as a daily in an in this sight exotic area. And also only for a few miles out, without any form of „warmfahren“.

This explanation is with my own words and the possibilities of my school English. As I‘m a little fanatic with „the British style“ I hope I can show the very special experience.

Greets René

Hi Rene, forgive me for posting this one laugh2 It is Morgan Club Lëtzebuerg on tour..

Had a great drive thru Cumbria and Yorkshire on Sunday. Originally going to see a classic car show near the Crooklands Hotel where the Fellmog Morgan group meet. We did a quick U turn after spotting a few Morgans in the hotel carpark and joined them for the day finishing up at for a picnic at Castle Bolton, along country lanes and specular scenery I had never travelled before. We never got to the classic car show but had a great day in the company of fellow Morganeers who made perfect strangers very welcome.

Great to see that ‘The Yax’ was out 🤗 at the Bonny Cravat on May Day. Yes - I also think that the Lagonda belongs to one of the HopMog group, although, if it is who I think that it is, the owners sold their Morgan a couple of years ago ☹️

Not today, but a superb day on Sunday at the VSCC Wiscombe Park Hill Climb.

Slightly marred by an accident involving the ‘White Mouse’ ERA12C of Terry Crabbe.
(He escaped with a broken leg and damaged car.)
Though the entry list was slightly reduced, due to the clash with Montlhèry, there were still some wonderful cars in competition.

If you’re yet to attend a VSCC event, it is thoroughly recommended.
