High fashion has always been impractical... hence it was only worn for short periods at special events ... to be able to turn up for your 'day job' like that means you inhabit a world where you know as a certainty you won't have to lift a finger doing anything for yourself ... makes Marie Antionette look like a decent working lass.

K The same is true for less than high fashion as well though. Whenever I see blokes wandering around in beige slacks or shorts for example, or even worse, wearing white, I wonder how they manage to keep clean. Clearly these people have no expectation or risk of having to get grubby during the day. I find it much easier to wear scruffy clothes all the time, that way I'm ready for anything, and black jeans and T shirts hide oil and grease stains better than any other colour

Hamwich .... indeed ... I had an almost totally black wardrobe that would put a goth to shame ... then my wife rescued a long-hair white fluffy kitten ... my wardrobe morphed to mostly grey marl in self-defence ... now that Mog has left us I'm back to black! 😄

I have 6 white shirts. Every other item of clothing I own is black. When I see photos of Hamilton it does remind me of old blokes in red trousers After last seasons F1 where it proved to have the same credibility as WWF Wrestling, I imagine he's just going through the motions and taking as much money out of it as possible while he can be bothered
