The same is true for less than high fashion as well though. Whenever I see blokes wandering around in beige slacks or shorts for example, or even worse, wearing white, I wonder how they manage to keep clean. Clearly these people have no expectation or risk of having to get grubby during the day. I find it much easier to wear scruffy clothes all the time, that way I'm ready for anything, and black jeans and T shirts hide oil and grease stains better than any other colour smile
