I have measured my plate, Dave. It's 15x15cm. Looking at it in the flesh it doesn't look as small as in the photograph I posted. And the silver on black really pops. You get a better idea of the size in this front on view.

Thanks David, thats what I want on the back of Monty.

I'm talking with Chase Lane plates in Gloucester to get them to make up my new 'L24 TOK' number, I see you've also reference TOK 258.

Great minds think alike thumbs

I think it's a nice homage to have TOK. Only Morgan enthusiasts understand the significance. When I was with my car in London a few months ago an Australian couple who happened to own a 4/4 stopped to chat with me. Their first comment was - "love the numberplate".

I think L24 TOK is a nice idea - very appropriate. My firs Mog was M66 TOK - M being the first letter of my surname and 66 being my birth year. My current one is D8 TOK - D for David. I chose 8 because my wife is Chinese and she said the number 8 is very auspicious and lucky in China.

How lucky we are that Chris Lawrence's car wasn't registered GIT 258. I doubt it would be so popular then.

I think step one will need be to fit two standard oblong die stamped oblong silver on black plates, I say this because to get the right effect with the front vinyl plate I fear I’ll need to do something with the front valance as simply deleting the numberplate box without sorting this area first could leave Monty looking a bit empty looking under the grill thinking

When that’s all sorted it looks like white letters/digits on a matt black square will work best on my green car.

The above size looks spot on too shades

This looks good too...

I agree. The size on that one is perfect.

Where did you get that front valence?

It was a Morgan built option when I ordered the Car. I had to pay a bit extra for it.
