Hi all, for those of you who have the tacky plastic rear view mirror that came with some Morgan's and was supported by the little device seen in the first photo, the second image shows a very nice replacement option which has mounting holes exactly the same distance apart as the Morgan original.

I bolted mine on today, very happy. No affiliation, just wish Morgan hadn't been so cheap arse with the shitty stock mirror.
At 127mm it completely clears both windscreens. Note that there is a bigger version which would probably be too wide.

Nice mirror. Luckily the later cars didn't come with this. Thanks for posting. I presume that the stem is stiff enough that it isn't misaligned by the wind at speed?

Yes, in fact it vibrates less than the side mirrors. There is a screw adjacent to the ball joint which I suspect is to tighten said joint should it become loose over time.

Your side mirrors vibrate? I don't have that problem. But I have noticed that I am always followed by a 9.2 magnitude earthquake that causes the entire world behind my to shake violently. I figured this was simply because of my awesomeness! smile

Nice to know about the adjustment screw. I have considered if this would be a nice upgrade. I like that it comes with earthquake compensation technology.

Hi Mr Awesome

Could you share a picture of the completed installation as I have been considering a centre mount rear veiw mirror. Thanks

Lol, here you go MalcolmM3W.

Just the right amount of clearance for the standard windscreens. Don't mind the marks, just the remains of some dead bugs from the test drive. (3 hours in the hills)

I've been using one of those on the old F Super and over 10 years of vibration testing it's held together very well
