Good work GLLOQ! The UK team (me & NippyMog) have been working on a kit that allows a standard Harley V-Rod crank position sensor to be used on the X-Wedge. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/07/Bunny_V-Rod_CPS_Kit_3.jpg) It's basically a machined sandwich spacer. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/07/Bunny_V-Rod_CPS_Kit_4.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/07/Bunny_V-Rod_CPS_Kit_1.jpg) I hope to offer a kit including the sensor, spacer, extension lead and longer mounting screw. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/07/Bunny_V-Rod_CPS_Kit_2.jpg) Initial testing has gone well but I need to put a few more miles on it before being 100% confident. Watch this space!

Bunny, do you need the extension lead? The lead on mine is only about a foot long and connects to the loom adjacent to the oil filter next to the regulator multi plug.

Bravo Bunny I think the lack of sensor problem will be solved, I'm also looking at the Mercedes Smart sensor if it is possible to do something with it. I don't have time to drive with the Kia sensor yet. ![[Linked Image]](https://zupimages.net/up/22/36/0tsx.jpg)

The standard crank position sensor connection plug is located above the starter motor - so I would say yours has been previously modified for some reason?

Dab of Oppo: I guess you have some kind of interim/development loom? Certainly every CPS I've seen has a long lead.

Built in December 2012, registered Feb.2013.
The whole 10 year build program was interim/development.

The whole 10 year build program was interim/development. Mine is older than yours (June 2012) and has the CPS connector in the 'normal' place.
