OK, latest news is that I did negotiate with my wife, who said "If that's what you want, you had better have it then", lovely lady, then I negotiated with the owner of the car and we reached an amicable agreement which involved money passing out of my hands and into his.
The car, a pearlescent white example with carbon roof, is now sitting in my garage waiting for tax and insurance to be effected for the start of December.
As an aside, as it only has 248bhp, I have already been on the Lichfield website and note that an extra 50 bhp and 30 ft/lbs torques is available for a very reasonable cost without any mechanical work whatsoever. How clever modern electronic systems are.
I will give an update once it is on the road.
PS I still have the Plus 4 in the garage to stay faithful to the marque.

I met a chap yesterday who had just bought one of the last, it seems they are all going to be EV in future. It looks like a really nice car and sounds good to boot.

Perhaps we shouldn't say this on here but based on what I have seen, it's a no brainer. The Alpine looks good and sounds good and it the epitome of a modern sports car albeit not a soft top.

I got to see one in the flesh last week whilst cycling it was covered in road grime it looked and sounded glorious not in a v8 way, even the wife commented on its looks. A factory fitted sunroof is a must though I think Alpine are missing a trick there...

Is it me or does the rear bumper of the A110 look like it has an alternative bend in it already 8)
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
