Another sign that I am so not their target customer base. I loathe that lifestyle rubbish. Blitheringly idiotic stuff. Ten year old boys might be expected to think that video portrays a great car but surely anyone over, say, fifteen won't realise it's a car advert at all? I'll go back to my rocking chair on the veranda now...

I watched the video. I really don't understand the message. I hope that the target market MMC are aiming at do, if they don't MMC has a problem.
In my humble opinion they should targeting the market sector with the largest disposable income. US.

The videos main intent was for the OB brand, not Morgan. It's a nice collaboration but the main intent here is to sell the OB brand. Morgan isn't the first to partner up like this nor will it be the last. OB wanted something different, cool and unique which ties in well with their brand story.

The videos main intent was for the OB brand, not Morgan. I beg to differ. According to the email that MMC sent out today, "Morgan Motor Company has teamed up with resort and swimwear brand, Orlebar Brown to create the ultimate holiday ready Super 3". (Note: not a pair of shorts or a polo shirt or a beach-bag). For anyone who wants to know about (or even cares) about Karl Shakur, have a look (if you can stand it) at https://squaremile.com/travel/karl-shakur-liisi-lafontaine/If (as referenced by Peter J above), this is illustrative of the target market MMC are aiming at, then IMHO they have a big problem on their hands.

Indeed - remember the SuperDry M3W? I had no clue about that clothing brand either (until spotting them in a mall in Vegas!). Exactly. Nothing new. There's some nice details on the car like the colour matched instrument cluster and I know the jury will be out on the bimini top but it's good to see MMC showing their skills at creating new items and I can't wait to get some Morgan speedo's 😉

Maybe the very fact we don't get it means that the advertising is working as it's a new clientele they need. Peter above is an eternal teenager though  pse don't show us the picture of you in your Speedos though...

I have managed to get my Mrs to ditch her pretend SuperDry Belstaff, but had to buy her a real one..... SuperDry are a good old UK brand though and started in Cheltenham. Personally I see no problem with Morgan linking up with brands - they've done it a lot over the last few years - watches, Gin, sunglasses, Cricket etc. All gets the name out there...... I appears there are some amongst us who are desperate for the demise of MMC and try and flag everything they do as a portent of doom.........

Yes, it's called collaboration and partnering. The video makes little to no mention of the M3W. I work in the industry, this is very common. I see a ton of advertising for products that I buy yet if I based my purchasing decision solely based on said advert, I would assume the product isn't for me. In short, it's an advert, not sure what the issue it.
