... Fun fact. When I asked the dealer how you open up the rear hatch he told me I can’t, it’s only to be opened in the workshop. 🤷♂️ It’s caked in mud in there only after 500 miles, I’m sure owners are expected to get in there to clean it? One of the early M3W 5sp owner-fixes / later options was a mudguard over the rear wheel. Did Morgan forget that lesson learned on the Super 3? One of the Super 3’s at the launch did have a mudguard over the rear wheel. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/01/26/DEAE064C-FBD4-4E4B-A439-251451D4EB37.jpeg) To open the rear hatch there is a lever at the top middle of the seat back rest, the boot liner can be removed by undoing a couple of thumb screws. Wish I had that mud guard on mine. Here’s what mine looks like. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/01/27/BF1175F2-26AE-41DA-9388-4474D05C31E0.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/01/27/0E81A053-307F-416A-B277-30C2F7C3704D.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/01/27/F99E97B9-A929-4236-93AB-245EA66891F3.jpeg)

Completely agree with 3Gs and will go further. Morgan get away with it because its end users (the retail customer) have allowed them. Even new Super 3 buyers are asking for advice or attempting to fix issues with recently delivered product. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Morgan want and need to entice a new, younger buyer. These buyers will fall outside of the baby boomer, make do and mend generation. How long will the Morgan "some will, some won`t, who cares, who`s next attitude serve them?
An attitude reinforced by the Morgan Works General Manager.I was asked via an email if i had come to a decision re the Super 3. To which i politely replied that due to quality concerns expressed on here, i would be keeping the wallet closed for now. Despite being a Works customer of just 13 months, no attempt was made to placate my concerns and no further email has been received.
Nobody wants to pee on anyone's parade here. We surely all want it to succeed, especially those with new models purchased, on order or those (myself included) who have spent months agonising over specs and attempting to silence the screaming voice in my head.
I am reminded of some words from a very well known and respected multiple Morgan owner (who will speak in private but dare not offend anyone at Morgan) who said re Morgan new model ownership. "If you can`t see the hills it`s raining and if you can see them, it`s about to start" Even the Ostrich with the longest neck can surely get that message.
If Morgan do not learn from their customers, they most definitely will not learn from themselves.
I’ll be honest, I’m obviously disappointed with the corrosion on my car. And the other stuff that needs addressed. Though I also don’t regret buying it! The car is bonkers and I love it. Warts and all. Though it would be nice if the dealership would maybe at least pretend to care, instead of just telling me I should of coated everything in ACF-50 (presumably in their car park before I drove it the 6 hours home). I can’t comment on Morgans response because I have no idea if they even know about my car.

Edit**
I phoned the dealership again. They are going to contact Morgan Monday and hopefully get a plan together about how we’re going to get my car sorted. Which is a great sign.
So I feel like a bit of a moaner now, just wanted to vent a little, guess I was just a bit gutted because I just want to get out and enjoy the car.
So just to recap, love the car to bits, early car with a few teething problems that hopefully will get sorted at no cost to me.

Edit to my original post. I have today received an email from the GM works who has been away from the business. The email reads that Morgan are aware of issues and after speaking with the CEO and senior management, they would like to invite me back to the factory to view the improvements from working tirelessly. It is suggested i might then like to "voice my own opinion on what i might find". I am going to take the view that the email was sent without sight of my post and go along and see what they have to show me.

Chris. The images that you posted of yourself and co pilot are the images of fun and joy that brought many of us to the 3 wheelers in the first place. I have no doubt the short term aggravation will ultimately be insignificant.

If they're anything like the 5-Speeder parts then they will start to rust pretty quickly.

Once it’s home, the ACF-50 will be coming out.

Goon news indeed, my 2013 car look better than that, ACF-50 is your friend, coat everything in it liberally. Good luck with the factory.

There was a discussion a bit further back in this thread about contrast emblems. Well, I stumbled across this Super 3 which has the wings in a contrast colour. Thus far I've only ever seen Super 3 embroidery and all are blind so my assumption was it would be blind regardless of what is ordered. I guess this isn't the case. Super 3 with Contrast Emblems
