Gott & Wynne noted the Spot Lights and Sports Exhaust on my Super 3. They did not make any difference.

Hi everyone thanks for the add, thought I’d introduce myself, My names Edd Little and I’m hopefully in the next few weeks going to take delivery of my very own Morgan Super 3… This is my first dip into Morgan ownership and I have to be honest, I’m very excited….

I have had the benefit of borrowing my local dealers for 72hrs and I did a little road trip from the East Sussex to North Wales and back… We learnt a lot… it’s safe to say, I have also started my very own Morgan Super 3 Chapter on FB as a way to help people decide on spec and answer questions but I’ll be sure to also direct them here…

So, very quick reply, but currently writing a piece for Morgan, so more to follow…

On longer trips your definitely going to need a Full face crash helmet…
Heated seat option not required given the exhaust placement…
Foot heater, almost pointless on the move due to air movement in the cabin…
Visibility is incredible, however reversing is quite tricky, due to seating position but with practice can be overcome…
Very comfortable even on a long journey…
Car is very planted even when pushed hard…
Absolutely draws a crowd everywhere you go… simply put all great things have faults but that’s why they are great…

I agree with all points other than "Heated seat option not required given the exhaust placement…", for example today the heated seats were wonderful (again) and the hot setting is most definetly hot.

Bark bark,

No worries, I guess it’s a personnel choice but, at a significant cost I decided against them… I’m sure most will add them but my point was more it’s not a game changer…

Most of those points are a given to 3 wheel driving being well recorded on this forum and published articles.

I can vouch for the excellent heated seats. I always have to turn them down to the lower setting within 15 minutes.
Today I took the Super 3 for a good blast through Northumberland and below 50mph the footwell heater did an excellent job of keeping my feet and lower legs toasty warm. Yes, above that speed, the amount of air whipping around the cabin meant that warm air was pretty much undetectable. I did have a mate with me so the whole cabin was open but I notice that 'one-up' with the tonneau over the passenger side, the heater is effective up to about 60mph.
I am currently adding a good 10-15 minutes to any journey due to answering questions from passers-by and quite nicely I have only received waves and thumbs up (plus a 'whoop' from one excited cyclist) so far and no negative reactions at all. I think the Super 3 brings out the best in people - it's not a 'serious' car so does not provoke negative reactions.
Happy happy motoring!

On my M3W travels through Norway I really wished there had been a heated steering wheel option. I'd rather have some feeling in my hands than toast my bum.

Every time I drive it my admiration and the utter disbelief in the fact you took I to the top of Norway increases, I do however wish you had spec'd heated seats.
