I have a radio, never listen to it but don’t like to remove it

I got a piece of wood and fitted them underneath radio. It’s just a thin piece of wood squeezed between the bottom of the radio and the gearbox tunnel but is firm and holds the switches well.

Sorry about quality of pic

There isn’t room under mine it’s tight between the under side of the heater and top of the tunnel

Hi, I have just ordered a heated seat kit from EBay and was wondering, is it easier to insert the seat cushion heat pad from the rear? Also, looking at the fuse box I can see the heated seat fuse is a 20A fuse with a white and orange striped wire for my 2014 Plus4, did anyone find an existing connector block beneath the dash?

Finally, is recommended to install a barrier piece of material between the seat foam and the heat pad?

Appreciate any tips you may have.

Cheers

There are dedicated green and black (positive and negative respectively) wires under the dash for the heated seat supply, terminating in female bullet connectors according to wiring schematic Kenny. If you trace back ignition switch connector wiring to main loom these wires eminate from same breakout point. They are probably taped or tied out of the way if not used during build.

I wanted to do the same, not for me but for my wife.

But then I saw this.

A little more expensive but a lot less work.

The included cable with fuse directly from the battery to next to the seat.

Simply plug it in and don't forget to unplug before getting out.

Tested and approved by SWMBO last weekend.

She finds it much more efficient because the back, chest and arms are heated.
