I could not find the Speedmaster 20" on Avon's website... anyone tried sourcing one outside of Morgan?

Funnily enough, I sent Longstone Tyres in the UK an email asking that question earlier today! If I get a positive reply I'll let everyone know.

I was pondering buying a spare front tyre but stopped due to longevity of the tyre, how long can it be stored for until it’s of no use. Practically though ~£250 every 4 or 5 years is a small price to pay for peace of mind. Does anyone know how long a tyre can be safely stored for?

Longstone responded really quickly. They can't source the new Avon Speedmaster for the Super 3 - they think it is supplied only to Morgan.

That is correct the tyres are only available through Morgan dealers and are unique to the Super 3, there is no other tyre that fits that wheel.

There is also M3WServices in Bordeaux https://www.m3wservices.com/

Although setup to support M3Ws they could be a useful port of call if you have Super3 problems.

Those in the trade tend to recommend swopping tyres at 6 - 7 years even if they have lots of apparent wear left, even storing a spare in the dark wouldn't extend it's life (safely) by much

I replace even an unused spare at 7 years as you never know when your life will depend on it

rofl Don't expect much help from the French dealers...they couldn't solve 5 speeder issues on cars they sold so the thought of having stock for the Super 3 is... tumbleweed

And express couriers in France and pretty rare and don't even think about ordering stuff from UK on a next day delivery to France - it will probably get stuck in Paris or Bordeaux customs for at least 10 days....and that's before you have to pay any duties due.
