The Morgan site now has pictures of the American model. . The front looks good, but no lights indicating its width which is of some concern. It has a large central red light over the license plate which I really like. Over all looks great!
The price list is not yet on the site but should be available @ the end of April. Those people who have already ordered know the base price is @ $54,000 or about $12,000 to account for transport, but does not cover Port and customs charges, @ $4000. The options for the US are @ 18% higher for most of them.

Thank you Scartans ! I got the additional driving lights option... it looks like it will be a bit too much with those additional 2 lights on the side ! Overall it looks great. I agree. My dealer didn't mention this transport Fee frown Except a transport fee from the port of entry to the dealer but this is not in the same order of magnitude cost wise. Let me check with him.

Is that the "Rest of world" fee?

I have to be totally honest, I don't like the US lighting arrangement at all, the UK lighting suits the car much better. The US amber indicators give a 1970s motorcycle look and the front headlights are too close together to show the width of the vehicle to oncoming traffic.
I am assuming that the front headlight positioning is due to the three wheel regulations in "some" states, and the UK front LED indicators (snails eyes) do not meet DOT/SAE without additional testing/validation.
They would actually have been better to use 2 red rear lamps as tail/stop/indicator as Harley-Davidson have been using on the Sportster model for some time. The single red rear tail/stop is really not an elegant solution and again does not show the width of the vehicle.
Now I'm faced with an awkward dilemma, spend more money changing the lights back to "normal" on a new car, or buy a Vanderhall Venice....

From Autocar today:
On the Super 3, Fumarola sees little need for imminent change, apart from additions to comforts, new options and some weight loss as opportunities appear.

To clarify- the $12,000 was for US delivery from factory including transatlantic but apparently doesn't include customs or transport to the dealer( $4000+). To clarify the pricing, the base price for the S3 in the UK is @ 35,000, with VAT @ 44,000. The Dollar/Pound exchange rate is @ the same as added VAT, so I computed numbers as such.

Also, the S3s will be coming over to the US by RoRo ( Roll on Roll off) ships as most new cars transport that way now.

Hey everyone, new to the forum. Have an S3 on order from Atlanta dealer, although I actually live in Dallas, TX. I’m super excited for it to arrive. My S3 will be painted in Lamborghini Viola Parsifae. It’s was a pain to get this approved but my dealer helped out a lot with it. Morgan would not do an Owl logo like on their prototype, so I got one custom made for when the S3 arrives.
My sales guy had told me a month ago about US cars having the driving lights relocated in the middle. I ordered the aux lights and he said they would probably have a kit where they could put the lights in the original positions after it arrives. Not sure though. The additional amber lights were not mentioned, but I’m guessing he just didn’t know about them.
