Anyone who thinks the BBC is unbiased should revisit their coverage of Brexit. They seemed genuinely gobsmacked that people ignored them and voted Leave. As were 73% of the population

I also listen to The Archers which is my 15 minutes of solitude taking me back to my days in the Herefordshire countryside. They used to recruit a lot from the local area. I was in the local Youth Theatre when I was at school in the 80's, and Sam went on to play John Archer, and Frances played Helen Archer. At Uni, my mate Dan's mum was Jennifer Aldrige. That is just how it should be which makes the show so relatable to anywhere in the English countryside. The scripts are so well written that I can get lost in my English eccentricity for a relaxing 15 minutes and see in my mind the local Herefordians that were the fabric of that part of the country. Now that is good Radio.

It's odd to watch the BBC spiral down into irrelevance. ............Most of the decent autocue readers have gone, and those remaining are as charismatic as a freshly plastered wall. Beautifully expressed Dave, your analysis sums up my feelings perfectly!

As were 73% of the population It's why the BBC finds it difficult not to be biased - a pole of the various staff in any BBC newsroom would likely find that 80%/90% were remainers. I think a poll of the entire UK would probably find that 80-90% think it was a mistake. Merely reflecting the views of the majority.
