Dear Chris, Looks like I am having the same clutch issue as you did. Yesterday, I was driving around, fully enjoying the fantastic weather. Today, sat in the car and noticed that the clutch pedal was basically movable without any resistance, so very "loose" feel to it. Also, not able to put in any gears. I am really disappointed now as this is in the middle of a fantastic weather long weekend, and I am "grounded" . My dealer is away a good 100 km and I will have to wait till Tuesday, call them up, persuade them to pick up the undrivable Super 3 and have them fix the issue. On the bright side, they can also do the 3 month check and fix my extra lights that do not work since delivery . I hope this all goes free of charge under warranty... I'm gutted for you mate. At least you weren't stranded far from home. If my clutch broke while I was in the middle of nowhere I don't know what I would have done. I only got the car back yesterday. It was gone for 2 months! I had 100 other issues so I'm sure yours won't be gone that long. Morgan will definitely pay for the transport. If the dealer says they won't then go straight to Morgan. I had to email the CEO for my refund! 😂
The transport guy said that when he was collecting the car, the mechanic had told him that there was a recall about the clutch and my car should have been recalled, but wasn't. This would explain why they knew about what it was straight away. I think it's something to do with the clutch valve? ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/05/28/IMG_1061.jpeg) What a horrible experience... I feel for you

Looks like clutches are a weak-spot. Mine went after just a few 100 miles too. Was apparently a damaged seal in the hydraulics.
To date: Passenger headlight replaced Steering box replaced (fixed wayward handling) Clutch failure fixed Rusty drum brake coated Rusty exhaust addressed Boot lid realigned Bevel box breather repaired to fix oil leaks Belt adjusted to stop creaking and squealing Fuel evap whine fixed (hopefully - its with Morgan right now for that one!)
So far I have owned my Super 3 for 166 days which breaks down thus:
Working 18 days
Faulty but drivable 82 days
Not drivable/at Factory 66 days
Heron Grey & Typhoon British Green Super 3 SOLD Plus 6, Silver and tan.

My clutch went today, by luck, outside my house. My Super 3 was wheeled back into the garage and will be picked up by the factory I expect in the next week for repair. I’ve luckily really enjoyed the Super 3 through this hot weather, it’s been fun in so many ways. I did a 400 mile road trip in it last week - absolute ball for each and every mile. I’ve also found out what some people is is a fuel pump noise, it’s actually a purge value noise caused by a kink in a pipe. The car was already booked in for this Friday to deal with it

Hopefully this ratio will change in your favour for next year... and hopefully 2024 cars will also get a better ratio... I hope that Morgan send all beta testers a nice present to help compensate for the frustration! Maybe a special sticker saying something like "Super 3 '23 Much Improved!"

Mine still has the annoying buzzing noise. I was told there was no fix for it while mine was at the dealership. Looks like I just missed it. It seems to be worse after you've just filled up with petrol.
It's crazy that everyones clutch is going. There has to be a recall surely. It's definitely a safety concern if the car brakes down in the wrong place.

This must be heartbreaking ProfessorM and costing Morgan a fortune in warranty cost not to mention reputation, potential;sales and falling resale values.

It's really quite hard to believe the factory can allow such a low level of engineering to continue, especially at the prices they charge now. How many new models can a manufacturer produce with such a predictable deja vu factor before sales just stop?

Good question....

I have to say my Super 3 , now clocking 3300 miles has needed no time at the dealer except for the 1st service, Ive done the South Wales and Northumberland tours so far without issues, a great touring car
