If anyone wants a good example of the standard of paint on the front of the Super 3 it’s this. Today I touched up some stone chips and rust before I coat it in ACF-50. The paint came off with the masking tape! I can literally scrape the paint off with my finger nail. Yeah it wasn’t great. Though everything was replaced under warranty and so far the quality seems much better. I’ve also made sure it’s dripping with ACF-50. 😂

Car sorted; purge value moved a little I’m told which stops the cause of the high pitched noise and an o-ring replaced on the tube / pipe connected to the clutch. I pick it up tomorrow so look forward to a sunny drive home. Service from Morgan has been great this week, informative and timely. Car collected, all good / fixed. Apparently, I got to speak to one of the Development Team, they changed manufacturer used for the O Rings as they have seen a number of failures - the new ones have not failed. I spoke to him about the Rear Disc Brake on the American Super 3s. Yes, they do have this but it's not easily fitted onto the existing UK Super's 3s, but new UK / European Super 3s will in the coming months have it - it's a new braking system front and back, from the Plus 4.

No car is perfect and I don't mind dealing some issues. My biggest concern is how I'm going to take care of the issues, especially warranty ones. There currently isn't a dealer in Texas where I live. I'm purchasing the S3 from an Atlanta, GA dealer. Still excited about the car though. Warren, do you have a build date yet? Let's hope that Morgan has sorted some of these early production problems early.

Sales guy texted me yesterday and said the date in the system changed to 6/2. I didn’t hear anything from him today if it actually happened or not. I figured I would text him next week to find out. All the panels have been painted because he sent me a pic of that a week ago so the good news is they have started for sure.

Got word today that my S3 is completed. Haven’t gotten any pics yet but hopefully will soon. Now just have to wait for it to get to the states.
