Has any one experienced going into limp mode; switch off and on and the car recovers. Taken it to a Morgan dealer and can't find anything wrong

Was there any pattern to the occasions that it's gone into limp mode?

Your best bet is to start by buying one of the OBD scanners and pairing it to your phone to see what errors you are getting. If you are not confident with this then most local garages carry one of the snap-on scanners and will do a quick scan and give you a heads up for £50. Quick and a good place to start.

You might have something floating about inside the Mass airflow sensor this will give you the same fault, when you switch off the debris falls off the sensor back into the void. It's been discussed on here many times before an easy fix but buy the proper spray cleaner. Em

The MAF sensor may just need a clean. Very easy to do yourself with the aerosol cleaner - click below.

I must admit have always found them perfectly clean though on a variety of car's.
