I would bet if a top quality aftermarket market alloy rad was fitted...there would be no concerns?

Before he disappeared, Simon mentioned on here that the problem could be due to the installation and that he was working on an alternative. Perhaps the rads are OK and the weakness is due to the design of brackets and fixings. If true, an aftermarket product might be no better when mounted in the same way.

What is/are the actual failures?
A breakdown ( no pun intended) of the faults is the first step to sorting out the issues.
Analyse the failures and rank them by frequency.
Pick off each variation to cure.
Some will be easy and others less so.
Are they assembly caused by poor alignment resulting in stresses?
Poor quality materials?
Rad capacity not matched to the engine?

My trad Plus8 has a Morgan ali rad. The top mount came away from the tank. The bolt to cross member bracket was out of line causing stress on the weld. The weld failed and was peeling away. No leaks luckily.
My fix was a new steady mount over the rad tank, padded and in line. My issue is tha5 whoever fitted the rad ( a dealer replacement for a previous owner) must have forced the rad to get the mount bolt into the cross member bracket. A quick bodge. GRRR. Was it an initial factory misalignment of rad mount points or a rad bracket misalignment?
Yes, Morgans are hand built so tolerances likely to be less precise but why not compensate for these properly?

Also no problem with me so far, although my Plus Six is only three months old with 1,000 miles. Having had 3 Morgan’s I have a very good and trusted relationship with my dealer, they’ve informed me they haven’t had any reported failures since last years recall.

So not all cars showing faults with rads as posted. And mine is quite a high mileage for a 19 plate. I can see the frustration with owner’s having recurring faults, especially the owner who has supposedly had 10 rads! One would think that’s more than a basic radiator problem.
Is it like Land Rover products, I had a 13 plate Range Rover second hand , sold it 2 years ago with 121,000 miles on it. I had no major issues at all , and it was used hard, towing cattle box, overloaded trailers, used off and on road. Yet my neighbour in village had a 15 plate, immaculate low milage exactly the same spec and he has had bills for thousands of pounds. Why? No rhyme or reason is there?

Again, am I just lucky!

My brother always said if I fell in a bucket of s**t I’d come up smelling of roses.🤷‍♂️
