your vehicle must conform with the regulations of the authorities in the country in which it is registered, not the country where you happen to be on vacation.

In the UK, uniquely, we have a white front licence plate and a yellow rear one. The Netherlands has yellow front and back, the rest of Europe and much of the world has white.
Oh, forgot, the Channel Islands have black plates and white letter/number.

No need for a helmet in Austria but you need a motorbike Autobahnvignette if you use highways. No front number plate required.
But you have to buckle up IN the M3W.
