I think it’s great. Traditional Morgan owners are all dropping off the perch. They desperately need a new audience. The Current time is perfect to make the younger generation sit up and notice there is still fun to be had in motoring. Imagine looking for a new car now, how utterly dull, no idea how you’d express your lust for life. I think some if you are taking this advert far too literally. Morgan’s image has always been that of old gumbies, Harold and Doris off for a jaunt. For some reason at 22 I wanted a part of that in 86 when I bought my 1st Plus 8. People thought I was an old man in a young body

I'm lost.
Lovely backdrop, beautifully filmed, utter drivel.
Morgan is doomed if it is waiting for 'Sophies' to buy cars in any numbers that might keep the factory running and the Italians in profit.
I've been in the Morgan world for a few years and I can't really remember ever seeing anyone who looked remotely like a Sophie driving a Morgan. I can't remember seeing anyone who looks like most of the folk in the current MMC advertising blurb for that matter.🤷🏻♂️
Mainstream advertising nowadays shows realistic representations of the sort of people who their product is aimed at, different colours, ages, sexes, religions and sexual persuasions, but in reality 98% of the people who buy Morgans are grey haired or bald, old white men, but MMC adverts don't represent that.😆 Spot on. After 40 years of exploring the globe I decided to retire! .. So I did and eventually purchased a Morgan... and I am bald(ing)... Guess I am stereotyped now... a sad day..

It never rain's in Sophie's world just in mine nearly every time Iv'e taken the plus 6 out since we got it.

I agree that Morgan need to entice new owners; however, the biggest obstacle I see is not the car but the price point.
MMC have priced their vehicles up and up and up... to the point where there is no chance the average 'Sophie' or 'Sam' can purchase a Super 3, let alone a CX based product.
Previously I may have argued that MMC would have been happy to entice new owners into an older Morgan with the belief they would get hooked and purchase a CX when they could; however, I cannot imagine that being group Investindustrial's plan.
So for me, whilst I like the spirit of the video and see it as well crafted, I don't believe the attempt to align Gen-Z values with the product is as successful.

(and gold clubs as well now that I think about it). It can certainly be done, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Not saying the Plus Four isn't a great car but I feel the advert is trying to sell an aspirational lifestyle that does not actually exist or could not be practically carried out in the way the advert portrays. Sorry to say this Julian ... but you have not realized or understood the effect of an advertisement.
The gray-haired or bald old white man wants to be like Sophie and is the target group in the campaign 😀 [Because it's a large part of how modern advertising works] I must say I was expecting a huge following on her socials... not so much. So it'll be harder for this nice little film to break out of the trad Morgan bubble. It's a lovely soft 'n gentle script & production... is it really persuasive? Will
