Got back last night after a 10 day trip.
Morgans at Windermere then off to the highlands for 7 nights.
Nearly 3000 miles in great weather. Car faultless and great comfort. Averaged about 200 miles a day including ferries to Mull and Skye ( return only as the Skye bridge was used outward).
Stunning views. More so than last year in the Plus8 to Loch Lomond.
Base was Roy Bridge just North of Fort William.
Booked for next year with difficulty! Hotels have been filled with pre booking already. The ferries are a bit of a mess due to lack of investment ( SNP gov showing their lack of focus).
Traffic was mixed with the effect of campervans, tour buses etc making the winding roads a convoy in some places.
Looking forward to next year.

That's a nice trip, look forward to seeing the photos
(SNP gov showing their lack of focus). They have two new ferries in a Glasgow shipyard rusting away that the SNP commissioned at the cost of many £ millions that will probably never be completed.

Next time you want a ferry trip to/from Skye, use the turntable ferry Glenelg/Kylerhea: https://skyeferry.co.uk/Great roads / views, particularly on the mainland side  Well worth it as several on here will testify.

Unfortunately not that much in past few days thanks to catching Covid on annual trip to Italy (didn’t realise til we got back as thought was just heavy man cold). Hello Clemens,
The Overseer Switch in my Plus Four was replaced under warranty and the latest software update was applied. Apparently the problem is known by the factory. Both door locks were also replaced under warranty. Krazy Horse were as brilliant as they always are.

I am in contact with MMC, Massimo. So far a very good support. Now the middle module is exchanged. That should arrive here in Germany by tomorrow.
