Notice the damaged foam on the second picture. The louvres are just above and when your marching on a bit water is pushed through and enters the cut outs at the back of the box It's very important you have a tight seal as water can enter behind the dash also . The round hole on the side of the box i guess was for ventillation it gets too hot even on a cold day but that is the design. Em

Hi Richard Thanks for your input so the first picture is a later version as it’s no like mine it’s similar The second picture is as per the exterior of my aero 1 I have found the fuse and it’s ok Don’t know which relay can I bypass the relay or replace it with another one
Where can I buy a relay so I can rule out anything else I read somewhere that the X5 electronics are what was used on the aero 8 if I can find a fuel pump electrics diagram I should be able to locate the relay or the Bosch fuel ECU
Thank you very much for your input

Paul, the fuel pump relay image above is a live link to the source. Pictures are best displayed when previously uploaded to an external host site. They can then be displayed virtually anywhere on the Internet including TM of course. I use Imgur which is free.

Hi all found out today what the problem was with my 2004 series 1 aero 8
Had a guy Come around today he said he has seen this before on a BMW X8 he said the stainless Fuel rail pipe is about 17 mm diameter and air can get trapped and it takes an age to get all the air out there is a port on the fuel rail this is used to create a vacuum if air gets in the fuel line
We created a vacuum with a hand pump and then tried it again it fired up right away sounds beautiful I made up a couple of side mufflers from scratch and fit the side exhaust forgotten what it sounded like
Hope fully this may help anybody with the same scenario
Thanks all for your help
PS is there any body that can offer some colour choices as I am going to get it painted in the next month

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
