It is lacquered wood Jon. I'll take a better photo when I've fitted the steering wheel. My PlusFour is currently being serviced. I hope to be able to fit it next week.

Looks great Ruut 👍

My vehicle is still being serviced... so I can't fit my steering wheel yet 😢

I hope for you it will be ready soon Clemens, so that you can fit the steering wheel. I'm always very impressed by the quality of the MP steering wheels.Yours looks wonderful. The MotoLita has first to be "given" to me officially, the boss and the horn push are still at the dealer, who will install it for me.They state that they mostly have to correct the alignment off the frontwheels after installing the SW.

I have received good installation instructions from MP. I think I can fit the steering wheel with their help. Let's have a look 😀

I think I can judge from a distance that you can do this, Clemens! sherlock thumbs

I am debating a similar upgrade. I already have a black leather Moto Lita like that above so just a boss to match needed. Or....sell it and get the standard wheel spokes/centre colour matched to the body? Hmmm. No rush. I just want the car back from the dealer at the moment. In for a behind the dash loom replacement. GRRRR

Your leather one looks like the MotoLita I have on my Roadster.
You can still get a centre boss / horn push from Williams but the price seems a tad ambitious

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm your statement Ruut.
I can't get the six screws open. According to MP's description, these are T15 screws. But in my case they are T10. The screws should be secured with Loctite. Despite strong heating, the screws are tight. I am afraid of damaging the screw head.
