Welcome to Aero ownership "Beard". A niche within a niche somestick which can become an addiction! Looks like you have a fantastic example and you're going to find it's like dating a super model as the car will always get a lot of positive attention so enjoy....just remember it's the car not you cheers

Good advice I'm sure!
One question for you, and I'm assuming your Aeromax is the same as my S4 in this regard, the manual appears to show that there is a boot opening switch/button inside the car behind the seats (i.e. a fail safe in case you don't have the key in the ignition I'm assuming. I can't find it anywhere - does this switch/button actually exist?
Best regards
Beard

Hi Beard, it's an entirely manual system using a leather tab attached to a cable running to the boot catch. Just lift the tab off the popper and give it a pull, mine needs quite a tug.

Think your question was better answered below from David. The Aeromax has the butterfly windows on an actuator (and I've never wondered or looked at the manual on this or my previous S4 to see if there's a manual release...damn now I going to have to look.).

I've just found the boot release - nowhere near the position indicated in the manual - it is behind the driver's seat roughly level with where my right shoulder would be when driving. It works well I'm pleased to report - good news as the car is currently connected to a CTEK charger so I can't get in to the boot otherwise - although I think we have some sunshine coming this weekend, so I suspect all will be re-connected and a drive will be on the agenda.
Best regards
Beard

That is my old Aero. It wasn’t a rebuild in the ‘engine’ sense. The chassis and suspension was damaged and a new chassis and suspension etc was fitted which meant completely dismantling the car and starting afresh on the new chassis.

Mileage is not correct, car had a replacement speedometer under warranty around 10-12,000 miles in. It had done circa 80,000 in total when I sold it.
