We took possession of a 110 7 seater 3.0 SE Dynamic in September, no waiting time . Purchased within the week, impressed so far, just have some concerns over reliability compared to owning the Merc GL for 8 years without issue.

The power is amazing and the 3.0 has the brakes to deal with it, i am not sure you get the same brakes with the 250 as some have complained when they remap the thing cant stop when you press the brake pedal.

It’s a tiny telehandler fitted with a fancy dung grape, Robbie, more commonly used with a bucket or pallet forks.

Can’t say I’ve noticed any deficiencies from the brakes, quite the opposite actually, I’ve been impressed by how un-affected they are by deep water. That said, the thing feels very big and heavy, other than taking a short cut through the fields, the Nurburgring lap time must be about as quick as a London bus😃

I believe the 250 has smaller brakes if fitted with steels or 18” alloys. If you order a 250 with the 20” alloys, then the brakes are the same as on the 300, which you cannot order with the smaller wheels.

With that said, I have a few friends who have 250s on small wheels and I haven’t heard any complaints about the brakes and one of them went from a 300 to a 250.

That makes some sense considering how much more expensive the 300 is in the same specification. It’s not something that would bother me, these things could easily double in price if you get carried away with the extras. My 4/4 is the same recipe, more powerful versions are better in many ways but since all I care about is looking good😂, my humble models do the job fine.

Sounds like strong logic… until you consider the red beast parked beside the two ‘humble’ models laugh2

That’s true too, nobody should take my opinion on anything really, I change my mind like I change my boxers. It’s very liberating being of independent mind though, the only advice anyone should take from me is “ think for yourself”😁

This is exactly right!!! Opinions are just opinions. Nobody has the monopoly on being right. We all fumble through as best we can.

Obviously I'm always right, although MrsW disagrees.

I believe what you are describing is the ebb and flow of man-logic... something I believe most of us suffer from on this forum, especially when related to vehicles! grin2

Man-logic allows for several versions of the truth to exist, the difficulty is remembering which truth you currently have idownloaded in your cranium 😁

Anyhoo, who doesn’t like pictures, here’s this weekend’s work combined with a wilderness walk and harbour of Gamrie.

Had some really muddy tracks to plough through, I’m surprised how clean the thing stays.
