Sad news indeed, a very talented player who never took a backward step or shirked a tackle.
I remember watching the the TV coverage of Wales v New Zealand when he was very deliberately badly racked across his cheek by one of the Kiwis. His last thought was to go off for treatment.
Afraid we are now seeing the demise of players from this golden era of Welsh Rugby.
