Looks attractive but the price for a utility vehicle is simply ridiculous. When you can get a much more reliable Toyota Hilux for 28k why on earth pay 75k for a Defender van?
Is it fashion? Novelty? 90 Commercial is £43k ex VAT / 110 £48k

Love the look of the LWB Defender but will never buy a JLR product again, not until they sort out their unreliability and build quality problems and sort out their security issues.

Raining cats and dogs today, one thing I’ve noticed, puddles only slightly deep throw a huge deluge of water over the windshield, far more than other vehicles I have, I suppose I could drive a little slower 😁 It had a good towing test this evening, the full capacity and it barely noticed it, quite impressive for a glorified van. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/01/04/IMG_8853.jpeg) That looks like an interesting bit of kit on the trailer - what is it and what is it used for?

The machine on the trailer is basically a dung handler, it costs more than the defender. Even though there are some cheaper options for a commercial vehicle of this type, they’re not a lot cheaper. If I could find a need for it I’d buy a unimog, they’re at least twice as much so I think I’m being quite frugal really😂

We have 84000 KMs on our 4cyl D240, without problems
had to reset the navigation twice in 2021, but since then the issue didn't re-occur
we do have new brakediscs and pad at 82000KMs, but living part-time close to the Stelvio-pass they get extra hard use
even my wife drives our DEF pretty fast through the mountains, it just steers so good!!!!
