Reminds me a bit of the last days of Rover. They would take say a 75, stick a few badges on it and announce the new model as the Rover 75 Palm Beach. Then you would get the Rover 45 Monte Carlo. Perhaps the next Morgan will be the Plus Six Skegness.

Me too! Wonder if the new headlights / rear lights / mirrors will also turn up on the Super 3?

The suspension upgrade option supplier is interesting. The company that Morgan refers to web address is https://www.nitron.co.uk based in Oxfordshire. Their web brochures for the coilovers shows the construction quite well, on paper looks like a good product.. Interestingly, they offer a recommended overhaul service at 24,000 miles or 2 years.. Which I suspect for a worked hard road setup would be about right..

Regarding styling details, the rear view mirror is an improvement as are the door mirrors.

Morgan seem to have fallen into the same trap as the major car manufactures whereby you have to make changes every year to keep up with modern expectations, changes aren't always for the better.

Once, these sort of relatively minor cosmetic changes would/should have been introduced to the production line without fuss, under the heading of "continuous development" or similar. This is decidedly not a new model. All that they achieve by calling it such is to downgrade and devalue existing "pre-facelift" cars - to the annoyance of their existing customers, and particularly dealers sitting on unregistered/pre-registered "old" models. The price hike adds insult to injury (although perhaps intended to add separation between pre and post facelift). After all the trials and tribulations with the CX platform cars, I should have thought this was the last thing dealers needed.

I don't know if that's a trap or not but yes, you are correct, Having "model years" is a deliberate policy that Morgan recently announced.

With Italian ownership they're leapt from 'model decade' and 'model century" to model year...! As has been said, it's hardly a new model. I guess many of the subtle changes could easily have just been phased in, but if you've nothing really new to announce to stimulate sales you've got to make a big deal of small things.
