Low volume production means all costs are borne by the smaller numbers of cars. Fixed costs in particular before a car is built.
Each car has its own component and labour costs and then a share of fixed costs added. The more cars built reduces this fixed, shared cost.
MMC getting cars into foreign markets is critical to increase demand and production. The US in particular is a big target that would likely vastly improve the health of the company.

MMCs experience with the M3W also seemed to show how less forgiving of the Morgan foibles North American consumers were, when compared to their UK counterparts.

The Lemon Law could prove to be problematic if the overall quality of the new cars is less than expected by modern North American consumers.

Still waiting for a base model 4-4 , if you want to stick to BMW they have a 1.5 litre turbo that would be perfect , could be built as a trad -or to ramp up numbers on a CX platform without options.

That would make a very nice "poverty model" for €85,000 in Germany.

In this advertising photo, it looks as if the Morgan has lost its headlight lenses while driving over the bumpy road. Morgan did not make a good decision by changing the headlights in this way.

Hopefully, this ad wont encourage people to sit on the wings!
When we were on holiday in Southern Ireland last year, on returning to where I had parked, I was astounded to find a mature guy actually sitting up on my front wing whilst his wife took a photo! 😤

I think we are confident of their new target audiance.

I might be the old target audience.

I like the rear lights, I agree with the video that it looks cleaner with just one light each side.

Frontline are also now using Nitron shocks on their MGB's that in their words been specifically designed for the MGB Frontline suspension. I have talked to someone in Australia with a Frontline modernised MGB who ordered the shocks from Frontline and changed their suspension, they said it is a huge upgrade. The price is rather high so I will be leaving mine as it is for now but if ordering a new car I would probably go for it. I wonder what difference there is between the Nitron shocks for Morgan and Frontline, probably not much at all.

I am afraid i am not a fan of the new lights, they are dark so makes they look like sad hallow eyes with on the‘face’ of the car. Expect it will just make the spot lights a more popular option as in my opinion that improves the look.

Given that each new CX "addition" has made me sigh.......this time it didn't. The bigger headlamps were needed and should have been done on the Aero Plus 8. I don't especially like no front indicators or single rear lamps, but all of these, being bespoke means more expensive.
