That's how I see it too, Dave. Larger headlights fit well, but without elegance, e.g. without chrome rings, they look a bit empty. Maybe it was too much of a good thing? In addition, retaining the indicators makes the Morgan front less naked. This only applies to the new CX. My Trad 4/4 has the perfect headlight size with the 7s.

Many of the changes are to simplify the build process, single lamps front and rear each side, one piece inner door mouldings etc. Others I understand are geared to easing acceptance into the US market.

I would immediately accept that from a mass manufacturer. But a small, fine craftsman's business that holds its construction procedure sacred, at least in its advertising, wants to save money on two holes in the front wing? If savings are the reason, then they are saving in the wrong places in my view.

Profit motive in order to build and sell the business means that bloke with a pencil and note board is going to have teeth?

Yep time for the venture capital lads to sell up & move on to another target. Lipstick on the pig time. I'm guessing if Trump wins that would be the perfect moment as the N american market would open up.

Whaaat.? Last I heard, he was looking to impose a 25% tax on imported cars. (Gotta make America great again, somehow!)

Yes but the law Biden stopped says low volume cars can be imported. Without that it is 25% tax plus passing the US auto regs.

I think it'd have a more balanced look with some spot lights in place of the missing indicators, the front is just to empty imho, obviously the new lights output on the road at night should be vastly superior to what has come before in terms of the old halogen based lamps.

Anyone happen to know if the mirrors have the same footprint as the existing car so they might be able to be retrofitted?
