I have now come up with an alternative to the S&S Crank Position Sensor. The original CPS is Morgan part number E130008, priced at £250 last time I checked - that's if you can actually find any stock anywhere.

My solution is to offer a Harley V-Rod sensor in conjunction with a spacer and extension cable along with a few other accessories.



As you can see, I also supply a longer fixing screw, an original H-D O-ring, some split conduit and various tie wraps. Illustrated instructions are also provided.



Therefore, this kit is all you need to complete the CPS replacement job.



I've been running this kit on my car for a while now with no issues.
The kit is priced at £140 which includes UK postage.

These Crank Position Sensor kits are still available and in stock at the same price as before. They come with comprehensive fitting instructions.

Also available for the X-Wedge equipped M3W:
Lambda Sensors at £140 per pair. These have the correct connectors for simple replacement of the original factory items.


Throttle Position Sensor Kit at £75. This kit has the replacement sensor and new hex socket screw hardware to hold it in place as the original screws are very 'soft' and will probably be wrecked in the removal process.
