A Morgan has not been a car you can flip for around 15 years now so don’t rush in unless you are a stayer with Malvern in your bloodstream 😂

I just bought 2022 plus four with 1800 miles on it. Not taxed since Aug last year.
I paid for what in 22 was over 76k on the price list 57.5.
Similar cars are out there in the mid sixties or higher.
I understood the po either sold it back or mmc bought it back due to the recalls.
CXs were then highly discounted and the MY23 upgrade made 22 cars too expensive . Why go secondhand when new wasn't much more.
That is my take on it

The only thing which really matters is that falling prices opens up the market. Sports car enthusiasts who previously thought Morgans were out of reach will now see opportunities. The market place is rammed with classics for sale. I think one of the issues is that those who are seeking "investment" will try to bale out at the first sign of a diminishing return, and those who are simply "weekends to the pub" drivers will be getting nervous if they think the market is collapsing.

And of course political uncertainty and a crap summer don't help.
I bought the cx for the long term and the fun of it not as an investment.

Agreed but there is a vast spread on MY22 CXs right now. I just want the grin & I hope no buyers remorse on exchange.

A local member has just sold a lovely tweaked and drivable MTW Matchless Super Sport for just 28k less auction fees, as he had no takers privately, I suspect he's taken a big hit as he bought at the peak (expecting prices to continue to rise) at the time US buyers were buying UK three wheelers of this spec for circa £50k + shipping & import costs !
