It sounds very much like a judgement call.
Nice options and a colour choice you "Really Like" may never happen again unless you spec a new car.
If the price is good, then sometimes the potential of depreciation is best left to one side. Certainly when we specced a new Plus 4 in 2016, I did that in the full realisation that:
1: New Morgans need a degree of fettling at the start, before they settle down.
2: Depreciation would be inevitable with a new car.
No regrets.
