Umm_ were we not told by the factory that the manual Plus Fours were detuned because the gearbox could not handle the torque that the auto ones had??

I would be interested with the high-flow catted downpipe. I wonder where it could be available in Belgium ?

Whilst my CX is in for a warranty rad & a few other things Krazy Horse have lent me an auto WRP4. This is a 2020 with just the ECU chip so only 316 bhp & 461 Nm of torque.

This goes quite well and without traction control I would worry in the wet & prefer a manual. Floor it & the speed climbs v quickly in any gear.
With a normal cat & exhaust it is civilised noise wise as well which HO likes.

Being a 2020 car the seats are rock hard & the suspension rougher than my 22 car.

The old hood you realise is far simpler.

This car has low temp race pads so the brake response takes a while to get used to.

John, In your write up on your original WRP, you stated that you would miss the Old fashioned drive feel. Do you still feel that way or has your plus four, converted you ?

It is a lot easier drive and a faster / smoother one .
Today on the A14 going over the concrete slabs I didn't miss the trad.
I'd still like a trad but having 2 Mogs isn't an option.

I drove the WRp4 on Friday. What a fun drive … the only slight question mark for me is if the brakes are up to it but I guess there’s a solution to be found if it becomes an issue.

Anyway, I liked the car so much that I secured it with a deposit. Just waiting to hear when it will be ready for me :-)

Well done Dave. That beast is magnificent. I'm currently driving the auto with only the ECU flash which at 316 bhp is still an astounding car.
Dan will do you proud. those brakes are fine but race pads are available as is a brembo conversion. When do you collect it?
