It is a well know issue, they should change it without cost for you.
My radiator has been changed 5 times .

I spoke to soon, looks like I have the dreaded radiator leak, a few drips found at the front near side is this what you first see?
Not had a new rad before and car now 4 years old so out of warranty as anyone had to pay themselves for a new radiator. The Consumer Rights Act allows the user to claim up to 6 years for a latent defect in a vehicle & on your side is the known history of many Rad changes to CX cars, confirming a latent design / material defect So Mike, stand your ground, you shouldn't be paying !

Thermal shock. Normaly with a new radiator and the software update it should be ok. The software update has to be done since 1 year . On my car the radiator was changed but the software update was not yet existing .

Plus the rad is redesigned . My 24 cars get a rad from a new supplier

Out of warranty I would ring the factory I think they will be very fair with you, give them a chance to rectify the problem they have so far with everyone. Em

Was this leak on a 24 car with the new upgraded rad and software? Worrying if that's the case
