Has anyone had any experience of and would recommend any quick release steering wheel mechanisms with top horn push for my 2012 Plus 4 currently with standard from factory plastic boss shroud. Just forward planning and looking to make entry and exit a little easier. I've just ordered from MK Attack this spark plug cover for my engine https://www.mkattack.co/product/st150-mk-attack-spark-plug-cover for £25 plus postage, they have different covers also for the Zetec engine. It should provide at least a splash guard for the worst of the potential water ingress. It has a very simple but quite ingenious method of attachment

An alternative: I have a moto-lita offset steering wheel with wooden rim, which I will be offering for sale later in October after I return from holidays. But, you would need to get a boss and horn push to suit.

Does it do the basics and keep most of the water out of the spark plug hole, which is all I'm hoping for, having seen the state of my spark plugs which had clearly been immersed in water at some point. A simple cover like this was all Morgan had to do when building the car. I'm might put some Morgan branding on it before I fit it.

Hopefully it's not as extreme as this E-type one ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2024/09/12/Etype-quartic-wheel.jpg)

![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2024/09/12/IMG_0214.jpeg) I have already taken it off the car. Dimensions are: Diameter 13 7/8”; short radius 6 1/8”; longest radius 7 3/4”;

I can recommend the Moto-lita offset steering wheel. The lower part of the wheel does give more room. Of course not as if you removed the wheel completely, but enough for me. I am 180 cm tall, normally built, reasonably slender. I do not knot know the make and size of your present wheel, but if it is a Moto-lita it is a direct swap, there should be no need for another boss or horn push. The wheel itself is 14", but will equal a 13" at the bottom, 15" at the top. So if your present wheel already is a 13", there is no gain, exept that you will have better instrument visibility. I think the off-set wheel is underrated, should have been standard or at least optional extra on the trads.

I used one for many years on my trads. They work a treat.

Yes it does but it's not 100% watertight, but much better than nothing.
