As for the new look - I like it. Here's a 4/4 from 1936 with no separate indicators messing up the aesthetics. Right now, most manufacturers are building cars that few people want, with fancy touch screen tech that few know how to use.
The motor industry will be unrecognisable in ten years. The younger demographic have been the strong voice of more screens the better, however, most OEMs have gone a bit overboard with putting EVERYTHING into a screen. Customer feedback is now starting to get a bit louder about how this has gone. Mark my word, you will soon see luxury and premium being applied to new cars that have something simple like HVAC controls with actual buttons! VAG flagged it up a couple of years back I'm not holding my breath, not really an option or compatible with EV is it

I hope the designers at MMC are monitoring this thread. The flat rad look would be a fantastic 'new' direction for them to go in...! Not necessarily a good fit for today's more generously proportioned customers, those old flat rads are even harder to get in and out of than the later short-door trads.

I hope its another convertible the world is full of tin tops.
I hope they take one styling cue from the last iteration of the 4 seater, in that they painted the outside (and inside) lower metal plate of the side screen below the lower window trim the same colour as the body. It changed completely the line of the car when the side screens were in,.
Whilst I drive around all the time with the roof down, I nearly always have the side screens in, and I'm considering having the outside plastic removed from my side screens and getting them painted the body colour, the outside plastic or whatever always looked a little amateurish, in todays more sophisticated market place.
