I reached the end of my clutch disc, it happened suddenly when downshifting the gear change was hard and tended to slip I turned around and 25 km to get home, my two old clutch discs with broken springs and 15,000 km on average so I had reassembled my first clutch disc which was still in good condition replaced for safety at the factory when replacing the chassis in 2015, it weakened after about 100,000 km,as these two discs with broken springs were disassembled while trying to repair them I found a 180 mm Alpine A110 disc for a ridiculously low cost so I decided to modify it to adapt Alpine 110 to adapt the correct gearbox shaft groove that I will have laser welded, then I replace the plastic centering rings with metal and remake all the closing rivets to rivet it again.
A day's work plus 46 euros for a new clutch disc should not be worse than the original quality.

I bought a second clutch disc of better quality of old Sachs brand that I modified also the two discs have a different thickness 7 mm and 8 mm for the Sachs the original one is 7.5 mm so I will put washers of 0.5 mm between the flywheel and the clutch mechanism so that the diaphragm spring is in good position.

The fault is the diaphragm spring of the clutch mechanism the disc is only worn 2/3 after 100,000 km and the springs of the original disc from 2013 are in perfect condition

Impressive work GLLOQ, as always. I suspect that the transmission of your M3W gets a lot more stress than most? You have a pretty top end engine as well I think? The transmission is fairly marginal for even a standard M3W, other than the reliable Mazda gearbox. As you make one part stronger and better the next weakest link in the transmission breaks. Leaving the Centa rollers as they are could be the best option? They are relatively easy and cheap to replace and may act as a limit or "fuse" to protect the other components?

I am very satisfied with the modified Sachs clutch disc, it works perfectly after 400 km, it seems more progressive than the original discs.

I would replace the friction linings of my 2013 disc with the linings of one of my discs with a broken spring. I think I have enough for a few decades. If Morgan sold the quality disc-mechanism assembly, I might have bought another one. I have already paid twice for poor quality second generation clutches with a statospheric price.

I just want to say that the clutch disc cores were TIG welded and not laser welded because it was not immediately available and I had another job to ask them to do at the same time.
