As I plan to drive my new CX on dry winter days (subject to availability :-) ) with the top down and probably sides off, I will need some gloves. What do others use for winter driving gloves?

Currently (c. 10°C) I'm using thin leather ones, which are adequate in summer but are starting to feel cold both through the holes on the back, and in the gap between jacket and gloves. Most driving gloves seem similar, with the holes on the back. I need something not too thick, adequately grippy (for a non-wooden wheel) and long enough that there isn't a cold spot at the bottom of my jacket.

Even better if they could be conductive so I can use a phone (when pulled up) without removing them.

I use these: https://www.schwartz-vonhalen.nl/pr...uxe-kasjmier-voering-touchscreen-functie but I'm sure you can find them in the UK too! To be honest, they have the touchscreen function, but in reality I seldom use that!

So the holes on the back don’t give you cold patches when a 70 mph wind hits your hands with the side panels off?
Apart from that they look lovely

Absolutely no problem for me, I've never had cold fingers. This is of course my personal perception.

Surely the tonneau was fitted by Morgan? The cover might not have been, though!

I have a pair of cycling gloves which were marketed as being for mountain biking in winter, purchased from Cotswold Outdoors. They have small "grippy" sections in the fingers and palms which work well on a steering wheel.
Brand "The North Face" with TNFAPEX as a "model"? Can't read most of the internal labels, apart from the cleaning instructions which state remove and keep for reference, plus Made in China.
