The lock signal is red when the car doesn't ride.
I try 2 keys and no problem to start the engine and drive.
What append?

No mention of what car you have but typically the immobiliser red warning light on dash will flash intermittently when car not running to confirm immobiliser is active.

Ok it's a roadster 3.7

The light flash intermittently so I think it is ok

Engine off you should & key out you should get the lock signal. When running it should be off.
My lock jammed once so I removed the lock barrel & you can start the car by turning the switch that fits into the barrel. With no key in use the lock flashes but the car will drive, or at least mine did.

Same as mine then. With the engine not running the padlock icon within speedo flashes red every 2-3 seconds indicating immobiliser active. It does this whether key present or not.
