My ‘fun’ car prior to me buying my 4/4 in 2005, was a Mk1 Audi TT 225, which I had owned for 4 years.
A lovely vehicle: very capable, very relaxed, very comfortable.
I changed it because I wanted to own a Morgan.

With my parents living in Ledbury, Morgans were a familiar sight.
I really didn’t expect to be owning the same 4/4 nearly 20 years later.
My 4/4 suits me fine!
love

Indeed. I remember one special day in the Highlands, chasing SpannerJuggler in his Duratec +4 up the A835 towards Ullapool. Although theoretically I had more power and less weight than him he more than made up for it in driving skill and there was no way I could catch him. My car is enormous fun in the 50-80mph bracket, but it all gets a bit runaway stagecoach in 3-figure territory. But that's fine, if I had wanted a fast car I would have bought one!

I too had the pleasure of driving in company with Spanner Juggler, up over Hardknott Pass and other interesting Lakeland routes, though I was in front, and anytime I put a bit of a squirt on, SJ was right there and very READY.... all of which discouraged me considerably from getting throttle happy... I know when I am beaten... (-:

Three figure territory, been there done that, but in an almost straight line and found little to no fun in that... I was younger back then...(-:

I'm very jealous! Last time I was in The Lakes, I was planning to drive Hardknott but ran short on time and had to postpone it to my next visit. This was made all the worse by a chap I got speaking with at the hotel regaling me with how it was one of the most exciting drives of his life!

I've done it a few times in cars and on bikes, burnt a clutch out in a Morris Marina trying very hard tp drive it quite quickly, I don't recommend wet, frosty, snowy days or days with lots of traffic. It can be change of trouser time if you get in wrong,

Simon,
as you get to the top the Mog bonnet rises up so you can't see the road. It is real fun.

I've driven it a couple of times, but not in the Morgan. Great fun in any car!

We drove it in the Singer Chamois back in 1970, great fun.
A bit overpowered of course 😂
