Latest update of the M3W Alternative Parts List. The main changes for this list include some additions to the engine sensors, brake flexi hose front to rear information and some additional information about Mazda gear change parts.

As always, if you have any information that may be of help to other owners, please let me know and I will add it to the next update.

Thanks, Planenut. This is always good stuff and I've used this list to purchase several spare parts. I appreciate you and others for sharing this information.

Thank you Ian for keeping this fantastic resource going.

A couple of comments:

Front Tyres - you mention the high wear rate for the Michelin Commander and to put this into context even with normal driving expect about 500 miles from new to slicks.

For Alister's modified Turn Signal Module this is only applicable to 2014 onwards M3Ws with an 18 pin connection. For the earlier 12 pin and the 14 pin EU4 modules you will need to get these form the factory via a Morgan dealer. Alister produces these in batches of 5-10 but I have a few left which I bought as part of the MTWC Touring Group. If anyone wants one please contact me via PM or chrisgolding99@sky.com

Correction, it wasn’t Michelin Commanders that lasted less than 500 miles but Mitas

From Marokko
Yes Chris is talking about my new Mitas tires.
They were practicaly new when leaving a week ago to Malaga to join the group.
After going over the Pyerennes en driving 4 days in cold and salt, they were gone after 1200 km.

Fortunately with help of the group we found two new Marathon ultra Metzelers

I have to write that Mitas gave a positive reaction and will research the issue.
Maybe new tires for the coming 10 years ;-)

BTW. Yes we have a great time and perfectly organized by the marmot-family.

If you mean the link above, in planenut’s post, it is working fine - I just checked. If you are having an issue viewing it, it may be a security setting on your device. The file is hosted by Dropbox.

Latest update of the Alternative Parts List. Not many changes or additions this time, some more engine sensor info, Empire kit rod end bearing recommendations and that is about it. It looks like we may have just about everything listed for the M3W parts now.......??? Let me know if you come across any more useful items to add please. Use the most recent link as most of the earlier ones have been deleted. For info this list is also shared on the Morgan Three Wheeler Club Touring Group facebook and MTWC website, in the very useful 5 Speeder section.
