That would be ideal if you can tell what is made where. Surely post brexit we can label stuff made in Britain.

Unfortunately we don't make much stuff in the country any more. If when you do pick up some as its got the British flag on it, you normally find it states, designed in the UK, made in China, Taiwan etc. Very sad.
But having said that, what we do make in our great and pleasant land, it is generally consisted first class and will last.

I looked around last year for quality wheel bearings for our ride on mower.. the originals were of course Chinese.. The bearing number showed quite limited availability in Europe..I finally found a set of the same bearing number from an american manufacturer, good news thought I, it will be well made. A week later the bearings turn up.. The outer packing had an american flag on it and said "proudly made in America".. opened the plastic inner packaging to check the bearings.. The number was correct, but written on the inner race it stated " Made in China"... I do not agree with Trumps tariffs, but it is becoming harder and harder to find components that are not "made in China".

I predict a very short life for Trump's Tariffs.
After all, it means that Americans are going to have to eat their own cheese. How long do you think they can hold out under that level of torture?
