I don't believe it was 130 mph. Does the car go that fast? I remember reading it was 30 mph so maybe a typo? However, this is the man who was happy to bungy jump in a mini off a huge dam...... So he must have a reduced sense of danger.
I recall hearing 30 mph mentioned by someone sensible.

I'm not sure at any level. I just find it hard to believe the car would look like it does and the driver not be dead if it was anything like 100mph..... Weren't there supposed to be two people in it?
I'm of the same opinion regarding the manner of driving being 'tw@t'.....! TG was an accident/death waiting to happen for years, Richard Hammond cheated death a couple of times and it was only a matter of time before someone else got injured.
In the current age of everything requiring a risk assessment and health and safety being involved in every process, it's amazing that in an organisation the size of the BBC that it happened at all....!
I presume that the licence payers have have footed the compensation bill.
