Just adjusted mine to 6 , which seems about right in my fairly dark garage .
Time on the clock remained the same and no other signs of the world ending (yet! ) I must say I too am always a bit worried about upsetting something while fiddling around with settings ....

I set mine to 8, which may not have been such a good idea, as I did it in a room with probably more light than necessary. However, all very easy to do and works a treat, so easy to drop back as required.

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks Planenut - excellent tip.

Are there any more secondary menus?

Great tip - upped from 5 to 10.

I didn't activate the machine guns, ejector seat, or oil slick release though.

You can set the level with another long press of the indicator button. Other than maybe messing the clock time up I don't think there is anything that will "end the world" in the secondary menu but I could be wrong! Good luck
Slight problem with my illuminator. Both speedo ( on the left ) and rev's (on the right) set to 8, however when I turn off the ignition the LH speedo returns to zero every time and says at zero when I turn back on
The RH remains set at 8. Not the end of the world I know but a quick fix would be much appreciated
