Does anybody know where to get seat support webbing from?
I got some Pirelli rubber webbing years ago for the drivers seat and I need the passenger seat doing now and I haven't a clue where I squirreled it away.
Here's hoping

Good luck in the mancave search, tbh we all know that you'll discover it the day after you have fitted the Woolies latest order and feeling quietly proud of how clever you have been and how much money you have saved

I thought they were the rules we all followed

p.s. Woolies are on it + the prices I really fail to comprehend how they manage to operate at a profit.
They are a properly run company run by total enthusiasts just like MMC was back in Peter's day, I'll leave you with that thought.
Please don't insult my half a brain cell with a lesson about the MMC having to change with the new customer demograph .........
Phil and Keith's cars were built in those halcyon days, it grieves me to say that as I love my 26 year old bird and have decided to fit my pair of Brooklands screens and remove the windscreen for the rest of my tenure with her until our Joe gets to decide what direction he will like to head off into as we shall keep all the original screen etc.
I have always been warm blooded and after almost 74 years experience on the planet never been worried or felt the rain really and as the good lady is not partial to accompanying me anywhere in the car due to the personal discomfort + she really suffers with the cold.
She has of course driven the three cars that we have owned most proficiently but doesn't see one single advantage over her 16 reg VW POLO GTI 1.8 turbo with 191 bhp on tap with razor like throttle response brakes and handling to match full panoramic smooooth electric one shot operation in either direction, climate control always in operation when she is in the RHD seat, six speed manual gearbox , 150 mph 0 - 60 6.0 something seconds. Quite rare in the three door light blue version but I onlined one down to Lancaster Volkswagen in covid time. Negotiated into the pricing was as tbh we couldn't be arsed with a long motorway drag the fact they would flat bed the car down to us was the clincher.
So I would never ever advise anyone to buy a car sight unseen, we have broken our cardinal rule and the bosses desire for this vehicle seen her immense common sense and cool head (which has been known to save me from falling in love with a heap of junk and save us money with stark reality) dissolve like the sugar in Alistair's Tetley he is a bad influence on us already
