Hi Em, i had a look at our 2020 Plus Six and we do not have the wiring connector under the drain outlet. I suspect this issue could be caused by a different Tech in the cars assembly and positioning of wiring harness ( quality control ) as I found our cars wiring was poorly positioned under the central consul when I changed the auto gear selector. Looking at the size of the drain bore I think an aeroquip type braided hose and alloy connector would go on the drain stub and look ok, but may be a bit expensive as its a large'ish bore. When we eventually get home i will have a good root around with a flashlight and see where our cars wiring is positioned, as i suspect the connections are the same, it's just where it's been placed is the issue. dave

Jon the danger is a pipe lets the water fall on the exhaust & turbo. I think I can divert it to the edge of the bonnet but the pipe I have is from a garden water butt so I worry about the plastic melting. As it is it directs hot air directly into the ventilation system. Silicone radiator overflow hose, available in nice preformed bends may be your solution
