That's a reality too. I can order some stuff from the UK cheaper. I'm simply trying to sort this vehicle. We are getting there, but it is slower than I would expect as a US customer.

OK, talked to Scovill, who is the manufacturer of Lift the Dot and with photos and caliper measurements, they say the hardware isn't theirs. Weird. Still waiting for a response through Morgan. There is another company based in the US which sells a comparable fixing, Loxx, but I'm reluctant to go to an alternate supplier only b/c it isn't "original".
Talking about jumping through hoops. I'm hoping the Morgan dealer here can connect with the factory and get me what I need.

Latest data- Tenax, which is Loxx. Made in Germany, good quality chit. FWIW, some website had them for retail and warned that they might cause cancer. In California. I guess I'm safe in Texas.

Those Loxx studs are SS as opposed to what Morgan uses: brass-chromed. That makes Loxx interesting in my view (the broken Tenax studs on CX hoods....)

@Ruut Bianchi- can you explain the broken CX hood issue? Are the Loxx Tenax of lower quality? I gather they are made in Germany. My guy found them on line in Germany in black and I ordered them--from a Marine supply shop. I think the black buttons will look great on my matte gray Super 3.

We are almost there, in terms of getting the accessories mounted. The Moto II with charger head is done, as is the usb port. Waiting on the accessory rails so we can mount the soft pannier bags.

The Tenax fasteners fitted by MMC are made from brass which seem to be hollow and break easily, I replaced all mine with solid stainless steel versions on my M3W.

OK, I've sourced the black Tenax by Loxx from Germany and Stainless heavy duty Loxx-Germany. Both to arrive at my guy's shop (Petrol Lounge) later this coming week. I'll let him evaluate the robustness of both before installing. Only remaining issue is the darnn accessory rails which were supposedly coming from out of stock to back in stock.
I'm gonna be away for a week- taking a trip to the wilds of the US-- Dakotas and Wyoming- and figure that stuff will happen when I'm gone. It's too hot here in Central Texas to drive this thing but my plan is to get it finished -- the Moto II head with charging plate is really nice-- and get rolling. I'm planning on doing the Ozarks rally with some fellow Texans (well, I'm a Yank living in Texas but they seem to tolerate me- what's interesting from a cultural point of view is that NY'ers, known to be brusque and to the point, are appreciated in Texas, and from my perspective, the gentility of Texans has calmed me down, I'm almost polite now).
